Long regarded as a dying race, the Slann have witnessed a significant bounce in their population since a reshuffling of Seraphon society some months ago.
“Previously you’d be lucky to see a Slann Starmaster every two, maybe every three generations,” explains local expert Qermit l’Verde. “But nowadays you’d likely expect two to be accompanying every Seraphon army.”
Explanations for the sudden boom in Slann have been stymied by a lack of knowledge regarding their breeding process, or indeed any aspect of their biology. Recent studies have failed to find any obvious indicator of the reproductive process, though some experts hypothesise that the ubiquitous floating chairs used by the Slaan may have some involvement.
