Today marks a year to the day since we issued our first news story, ββπππ ππ¨π¨π§β π©π¨πππ§ππ’ππ₯π₯π² π¦πππ π¨π π¬ππ’π§π€π² ππ‘πππ¬πβ, π¬ππ² ππ±π©ππ«ππ¬. Although it would take another month for us to start publishing on a weekly basis, now seemed as good a time as any to celebrate a one year anniversary.
As of our most recent issue, the Azyr Weekly has published 10,510 words. Our interns have advised me that this puts us at just over 10% of the way towards a novelβs worth of news, which is an exciting thought. At 940 subscribers we also have access to a battalion’s worth of bodies. Youβll be advised when itβs time to take up arms.
On a more serious note I would like to thank all of our readers for their enthusiasm, kind comments, and their consistent readership. We couldnβt have gotten this far without you, and itβs been a constant pleasure to get the news out to all of you every week.
In the future we plan to keep publishing the weekly content youβve come to expect, as well as βSpecial Issuesβ when events warrant. Before the emergence of Crow Plague we had a selection of designs made commemorating some of our more popular articles, which would decorate shirts and other apparel. These plans are on hold for the moment, but Iβve attached some snippets below. See if you can guess which designs come from which article.
In addition our initial order of Directionally Imaged Chance Engines (or DICE) were snapped up by squigs before they could reach general circulation. We will let you know once a second order has been made! If thereβs anything else you would like to see, be it merchandise or different formats of news, please let us know. We would love to hear your thoughts.
That about wraps it up for me. I hope that youβve enjoyed the past year, and that youβll enjoy the coming one even more. For now, stay safe, and keep on praising Sigmar.
Yours editorially,
The Editor
